 My recent personal research found some old time solutions for skin, & fractures to try out. I have chosen to rub into my daily routines for skin, fractures & bones  In asking around from other childhood memories and personal experiences I have gained great connection in history and community. 
Its time to put on the hot tea, pull out the old reference books, eat from the legacy of ones wisdom shared from grandmas & grandparent with values on all kind of topics. The day when gardens held family dinner and heart nutrition for community and soul....a slower kindness & hospitality. I do not know of others, but I miss the pace to seek out a gentle atmosphere from another time. I love the smell of herbs in salad, benefits of fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables with simplicity.

Delicious to say the least. The perfect blend with fresh grind of coffee beans brewed up using a French press, adding unsweetened cocoa powder, ginger & cinnamon, the sweet is from Blackstrap Molasses, no additional sugar, iced  with milk or cream added. 
So many options to play with, almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, macadamia milk, or whole milk. 
I make it with ice and coffee base throughout the day. As the ice melts it brings extra water for hydration.
Since my recent reminder of the importance to add extra Iron into the diet, molasses is the perfect fit. I love to explore the alternatives, health benefits, less sugar, greater flavor, & of course less cost!

The occasional from Days gone by, I remember the need to strengthen this vital  mineral. In pregnancy, digestion was more challenging with tablets, then capsules & I was coached to cook items more in cast iron skillet, & choose specific foods to boost the outcome.
My resent blood work revealed how low I have been in iron, so i set off to research new food options to correct as needed. I'm grateful to rediscover new tastes recently a festival of color rolls out delicious bounty full of nutritious flavors. Our bodies are aware of our needs in vitamins, minerals & supplements as we are drawn to eat items needed, learning to listen to our individual body is critical for best health. 
                      ..Iron is not produced in the body & must be absorbed by what you eat...
                                               greatly needed for growth & development.

We all have favorite menu items that more then qualify for this essential mineral in regular  daily consumption of Iron. Raw spinach salad, crab, quinoa, blackstrap molasses, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, almonds, almond butter, include banana for potassium, salmon for Omega-3,  a healthful journey for sure.

Collaborative Community Celebration with Lauderdale By the Sea South Florida, Real 
Food Advocate, & local LBTS Garden Club. Plans in the works March 12 ,2025.....Samples & Decor with Italian flavor & more of Real Food Advocate presentation. As we finalized the evening of health & wellness to share with the community.  
We had Italian squash gnocchi w/ fresh herb sage sauce. made by a favorite LBTS Garden Club community member, & Real Food Advocate facilitating menu choices & direction; Honey ricotta dip, bagel chips, anti-pasta salad, Vegetable pizzas spread with garden goodness with herbs & tomatoes, onions, olives; Specialty sweet dessert pizza w/ local mandarin orange cheese spread, topped with fresh pear, orange slices, mozzarella cheese & herbs. Our huge salad included multi colored cabbage green & red, onions, fresh rosemary, sage, moringa, kale, mustard topped with our Real Food * Real Life inspired instructor, fresh orange juice, ginger, onion, herbs slow simmered until serving.
